Carsharing system: common questions
How is this different from store car rental?
Store car rental is self-drive with smart unlock at a branch. This carsharing system books a vehicle together with a driver: the driver collects the car, serves the customer, then returns it. See also our car rental software page for the self-drive product.
What does the customer need before booking?
Customers complete a driving-qualification check (personal details and licence) and pay a violation deposit used for fines or overtime issues after the trip.
How does the trip flow work?
After payment the order waits for a driver. The driver picks up the car from the owner or depot, meets the customer, runs the hired period, then returns the car for owner confirmation.
What can operators configure?
Vehicle import, live location, pricing by car type (weekday/weekend/holiday, service fee, insurance, driver fee), platform commission, coupons, withdrawals and SOS alarm records.
Is this a hardware P2P carsharing product?
No. This module is a software workflow for car-plus-driver rental. Hardware lock brands and P2P device protocols are not part of this feature list; ask us if you need a separate integration.
